The Venture Program students visited the TD Bank in Hackensack. They were able to meet with the bank manager, who discussed steps on maintaining a bank account. The Venture Program students are currently participating in Financial Literacy classes were able to put their learned class skills to work, by completing checks, deposit slips, and balance a check register. They were also given a hands on experience on using an ATM and the important security steps everyone should use when using an ATM. Students are very appreciative for this hands on activity and an opportunity to benefit from community based instruction.
