Special Needs Swimming Lessons
We are pleased to announce that 3 organizations working together are looking to help offer affordable swim lessons for our special needs community. Swimming is a vital life skill! Access for All-Mahwah, Mahwah Recreation and Mahwah Pool have partnered to offer those with special needs, proper swimming lessons by certified instructors. You don't need to be a Mahwah resident.

Summer 2025 Transition Boot Camp
The Summer 2025 Transition Boot Camp is a college-based transition program for young adults up to age 24 with ID/DD, made available and paid for through the County College-Based Center for Adult Transition Grant, a project administered by and in partnership with The Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE).

The Summer SNAP bonus cards of $120 per child are mailed in June to the address provided by the child's participating School District. Thousands were undeliverable last year!
Families should apply and or update their address through the school district portal on the school district website.

The Children’s System of Care (CSOC) is pleased to announce the reopening of the Assistive Technology program for youth with intellectual/developmental disabilities up to age 21.
Effective 5/13/2025, CSOC will resume accepting new Family Support Services (FSS) applications for Assistive Technology requests.
