Referral, Evaluation and Determination of Eligibility services are provided for the purpose of determining eligibility for special education and related services. These evaluations may include an Educational, a Psychological, a Social, a Speech-Language and other necessary assessments.
Speech-Language services include language, articulation, voice and/or fluency. Speech-Language services are provided to a classfied student, when eligible, as an addition to the regular instructional program. The Speech-Language therapist can also provide assessment and services for articulation.
Supplementary Instruction (SI) is provided to a student with a classification according to New Jersey code. The Service Plan (SP) is implemented by providing specialized instruction to the student to assist the student to overcome/compensate the learning difficulty.
