  • As one of New Jersey’s Deaf Education Centers for Excellence,  BCSS programs for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing are the largest and most comprehensive in New Jersey, offering listening and spoken language and total communication approaches to learning. We are committed to providing students (0-21) and their families with a continuum of programs (school-based and consultative/direct) to suit their individual educational and social emotional needs.

    Supporting students and staff in optimizing communication access while fostering auditory, advocacy and social skill development in the student’s home district or district placement.

    Provides guidance, information, and support to families who have a child diagnosed with hearing loss.

    It’s truly inspiring to witness the incredible growth your children are showing in their language and social conversations. Their enthusiasm and progress are a testament to their hard work and the supportive environment you help foster at home and in our community.
