Consider what we look for in students. Career Innovation High School accepts students who have a serious interest in pursuing technical and academic studies towards a college placement and/or a technical career. The ideal candidate will be strongly motivated to advance in a technical discipline complemented by a rigorous academic curriculum. We emphasize teamwork in our classes, requiring maximum participation by all students, and encourage students to help one another to succeed. Applicants should be prepared to exhibit a high level of personal ethical standards, including integrity and responsibility towards themselves and others. The school looks for prospective students who exhibit strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to become active contributors to our dynamic learning community.

To apply to Career Innovation High School:
- Your primary residence must be in Bergen County, NJ in September 2024, regardless of where you attend school.
- Students must currently be in the 8th grade.
- If accepted, students will begin 9th grade year in September 2025. Transferring into Career Innovationy High School is not permitted.
