• Applicants to the Bergen County Technical Schools district should check their personal email inboxes and log into the studentrecs.bergen.org portal to see their updated application status.   If you had an interview, your decision letter will be available at the website by mid-April.

  • Applicants for the Class of 2029 must meet the following requirements in order to apply: 

    • Primary residence must be in Bergen County by September 1, 2024.
    • If accepted, you must be registered in your town’s school district regardless of the middle school you attend.Only 8th grade students can apply.
    • If accepted, students will begin 9th grade year in September 2025, and graduate in 2029.
    • Transferring into Bergen County Academies is not permitted.

      IMPORTANT: Please note that applicants may only submit ONE application to the Bergen County Technical Schools District. Multiple applications submitted by an applicant will be deleted from the application database. 

      EXAMPLE: If a student submits an application to Bergen County Academies and / or Bergen County Technical School, Teterboro, that is considered ONE application. The same student cannot submit a second application to Applied Technology High School, Bergen County Technical High School, Paramus, or Institute for Science and Technology in addition to the first application.
