  • Welcome to the Bergen County Academies

    The Bergen County Academies (BCA), is a free public career technical high school of choice for Bergen County residents located on the Dr. John Grieco Campus in Hackensack, New Jersey. The school offers seven specialized programs in the areas of mathematics and science, engineering and design, medical science, business and finance, culinary arts and hospitality administration, visual and performing arts, and technology and computer science.

    On behalf of the administration, faculty and staff of the Bergen County Academies, I warmly welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. As always, we are committed to assisting students with becoming lifelong learners as well as healthy and productive citizens. Our unique school has a rich history, a caring community, and a spirit of innovation that permeates our campus. From our rigorous academic program to our on-campus research labs and exceptional arts programs, we believe we have everything in place to help students achieve their goals. I am extremely proud of our students and our entire school community for their continued dedication to academic excellence, wellness and personal growth. BCA Alum Justyn Davis ‘03 graciously donates his Emmy to BCA

  • At the recent BCA school convocation, Justyn Davis came back to speak with students and staff and donate his Emmy award for his work on the Super emmy photoBowl LVI Pregame Show. Justin spoke with students about learning from failures and always moving forward.

    He credited the Teachers and Staff of BCA for propelling him forward and thanked Mr. Lang for “lighting the spark” which led to his success in the field of Cinematography. Justyn hopes that by sharing his Emmy award with BCA, it will inspire current and future students.
