Garfield House

The Garfield House is a district-operated home where students in Life Skills, ERI, and Autism programs gain hands-on experience practicing everyday living skills in a supportive, real-world environment. Using the local community, students are able to shop for all ingredients to utilize the state-of-the-art home kitchen to prepare a variety of meals. Students learn to maintain the home both inside and out as they will when living independently. From cleaning to painting, to outside landscaping, the Garfield House provides a truly immersive true to life experience.
