Ms. Harriet Dolman-Jones started her career with the Bergen County Special Services School District in 1988 as an Occupational Therapist. Her 30 years with this District has been spent working with the students at the Norman A. Bleshman Regional Day School.
Ms. Dolman-Jones has participated in various committees to the benefit of our school. Ms. Dolman-Jones was instrumental in the development of the fully-accessible playground that our students enjoy in the nice weather as well as in the creation of the original sensory room and the recently renovated sensory room. In addition, Ms. Dolman-Jones has participated in various committees such as Building Improvements, the Occupational Therapy Department, Technology, the Computer Lab and the Extended Year Program Planning Committee.
When speaking with colleagues about Ms. Dolman-Jones, dedication was a common thread that ran through the stories shared. With her calm demeanor and positive approach, she provided students with the therapeutic interventions and activities designed specifically to meet their individual needs. We thank Ms. Dolman-Jones for the support that she has provided our students, the program and the district throughout the years.
