Assistive Technology
The Visions High School program located at Saddle Brook High School uses technology to help our students access curriculum throughout the day. Our students have been working for the past two years in the Google suite learning how to use a variety of the Google features. The students work on both iPads and MacBooks. Some students have voice output software on their iPads to facilitate speech and communication. Other students use eye gaze software to control a tablet that acts as both a voice output device as well as a computer. The Assistive Technology department teams with Speech Therapy and the classroom staff to incorporate applications, software, modeled use, and educational experiences to provide the optimal school and community experience.
